From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, everything was exceptional, and the friendly atmosphere only added to the enjoyment. I will definitely be coming back. If you appreciate freshly prepared food made from scratch, you will love dining at Tabula Rasa PGH!

The salad was packed with steak, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, onions, cheese, half an egg, and a few fries—definitely worth much more than $5. I’m not sure how they can offer such a generous portion for that price when a salad like that would typically cost around $10-$13. Great job, Tabula Rasa! We will definitely be returning. We also tried the dessert, and the apple pie was fantastic!

Unf... read more I visited Tablua Rasa for the first time today and was eager to try it out. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which is usually our go-to appetizer. Unfortunately, this one tasted more like a cheese dip with just a few spinach leaves and even fewer pieces of artichoke. Our steak salads were equally disappointing. The fries were scarce (and burnt), the steak was overcooked, there was hardly any cheese, and we only found half an egg in the entire salad. The portion of dressing was also quite small. It’s disappointing to have had such a negative experience, especially since I was really looking forward to dining here based on all the positive reviews. The service was a bit slow, but our waitress mentioned they were short-staffed at that time.
