A lovely brunch of poached eggs on sourdough with a green salad. Side avo expectedly extra cost but extra slice of sourdough was a bit expensive. Given we are in difficult times, I can understand it extra cost but quite pricey. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rough & Bare Wholefood Kitchen:
I loved the Green Eggs: two poached eggs, kale, asparagus, tomatoes and delicious probiotic pesto, but $23? It was $4 for a very small slice toast, and they don't serve soy milk... $110 for 4 people for breakfast. View all feedback.
Best cafe in Sydney. Perfectly prepared food, incredible menu, wonderful staff. I come here as often as I can, with or without friends.
Really delicious food, a cut above! The bircher muesli was superb . What a way to start the day! If you’re up this way you’ll save the day!
All the reviews on Trip Advisor for this cafe are accurate. My husband, who has Celiac disease, thoroughly enjoyed his hamburger on gluten-free sourdough bread. He mentioned that it was one of the best he's ever had, so juicy! The wedges were also excellent. I'm thrilled that he had such a satisfying meal.
Amazing staff, amazing restaurant. It's places like this that make eating out worth the time, effort and money
I decided to have lunch at Rough Bare Cafe in Mona Vale based on the great reviews on TripAdvisor. I was thrilled to find out that everything on the menu is gluten and sugar free, which was perfect for me. I ordered the Avocado Tartine, which was avocado on gluten free sourdough with cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, goat's cheese, watercress, sesame seeds, and a poached egg. Although it didn't look very large, every bite was bursting with flavor. I will definitely be returning for lunch on my next visit to Sydney's northern beaches. I highly recommend this restaurant - it is top notch!
