Their food is delicious! The savory and sweet pies are absolutely delectable! Since it's new, there's not much people around but as soon they would try it, they would be definitely hooked!
Ordered their beef mince and lemon meringue pie. My verdict? Would order for more! The owner also gave me a portion of their pumpkin pie for free and it was also delicious.

What Alisa Volkman doesn't like about The Pie Kitchen:
A newly opened cafe Ambiance is very cozy, a small little corner cafe that you'd find along Aguirre Avenue. They serve sorts of pies (think sheperds pie; from savory to sweet pies) for an affordable price 120-160 Good place for breakfast or an afternoon snack (horay for serving good coffee and not instant ones) but not recommendable for dinner since they only serve light menu as of the moment. Great place, very cozy ambiente. I was in most countries that have great cake, this place comes closest or is even better than what I had in other countries. all in all just great cake, great desserts. no complaints, would recommend everyone.
Ordered a (s graceaving) lemon pavlowa - it was good and easy; I would order it again if I decided to go back to this place that is a bit of a stretch in view of my experience. also ordered an ice café latte- it was not worth at all for php155 and an American who should be php65, but was accused of Php75. I was not able to check the bill because I had to use their toilet before leaving. my companion decided to pay for our bill. I could only check the sales invoice (not even a real entry in the car. Only then I saw that we were charged with a caffeine layer and not with an American was another thing that the server telenovela observed on the tw of the escaping area....read more
Rinderminze pie is a good intro. They got affordable meals besides their regular cakes. great option for a cup coffee. they can't beat php65 per cup. they have slow Wi-Fi, so they do not consider this as location if they suggest for their coming cash check. bonus points for their clean toilet.
I give them a 3 because I felt that the saving gnade of our meal in the pie kitchen was the steak and mushroom pie I had. the pavlowa was tasteless, much too airy for us. in contrast, the blueberry cheesecake we had ordered had a very hard crust I would go back for the hearty cake. the filling was tasteful and accurate (it did not exaggerate the delicate crust). the crust was flattered upwards, and held it form (retaining the hot filling) without being hard as a crust. go for the pie set meal times (with kartoffeln and coleslaw) if they want to be filled, but for a light snack / meal, simply go ala carte on the savory pies.
It was a normal day for me in BF. I haven't really noticed The Pie Kitchen before because it's in a very cozy corner next to Pitong Daan Village. I thought I could try this out. Being a well travelled person I have tried tons of authentic pies. Most specially Australian and New Zealand Pies. So I knew what I wanted I parked my car in front and I was already greeted by the shops wonderful staff. The ambiance of the place was very light and relaxing. The service was exceptional. Now, the only thing on my mind as of that moment was how the pies tasted. I did not want to be dissapointed It took about less than 10 minutes for my food to arrive. I ordered a Chicken Leek Pie and Blueberry...read more
