Good food and service. Very cheap. One of us had the lamb he enjoyed it. The others had Harm egg and chips Spanish style. Nice position by the church
We ate here one evening as it was recommended and we were not disappointed. We had a selection of tapas, mushrooms, boquerones, sardines. Wine and then coffee afterwards. The service was really good, food excellent and atmosphere great. It was really busy and popular and we could see and taste why!
Came to this restaurant a couple of times and ate in the little square in front of the church. If you like black pudding then try this one, it’s amazing and is made with almonds added. There is also a chicken and prawn dish which is lovely, pretty good patatas bravas too. Very reasonably priced and there is a lovely English girl who works there and likes to have a chat. One point deducted for one of the Spanish waiters who is so miserable and reluctant to serve anyone! Avoid him and try the food.
Once again we visted Mojacar Pueblo and came here for lunch. We had the prawns al ajillo, croquetas, jamon iberico and cheese plus a few drinks, came to 50 euros. Everything was good but a bit overpriced. 3 people having snakcs and drinks I reckon 30 euros. Anyway it's a good little restaurant but check the prices.
This bar/restaurant has a lovely outside seating area in the small square next to the church and is quite sheltered on windy days. We were a multi generation family party of 8 and visited for lunch which we had outside in the plaza. All the adults had the excellent value menu del dia for 9.50 euros each. Children were also well catered for. Well worth a visit.
