Family run and always buzzing with regulars including me at the bar , more posh in the restaurant . A wide selection of traditional tapas , wines properly kept by the glass are exceptional , up to a dozen red and white at any one time . We are very lucky here in Mojacar to have many good eating places but for me this one is up there. Walked passed many times to see bar crammed full of people. Was lucky to have been taken in by my friend who is fluent in Spanish, not that it's essential.. Food fantastic,Service exceptional, atmosphere brilliant.Try the chicken wings, well in fact try all of them. For 12e, 5 tapa 4 drinks fantastic.Me I like VFM and this one is the best. Almost forgot Sunday Lunch is heaving book a table and try the Paella,took our family and our granddaughter of 18 months was scraping the dish it was that good. VFM Value for Money)
Many a lovely meal here they can never do enough for you ,the food is amazing seafood soup is my favourite followed by the steak delicious
This marries two things a great traditional tapas bar with a great restaurant. The selection of tapas is second to none plus a good selection of wines. If you want Spanish food at it's best be careful the portions are large, it is also known for it's fish dishes. Good friendly service worth a visit.

Being Spanish it can get really noisy in the bar but all good humoured and you will leave with a smile on your face.
Best tapas in town, some ready for eating, some have to be microwaved and some are cooked fresh for me in the kitchen. Most drinks are 2€ 's with a free tapa and not just a mouthful, more like half a ratheones. Restaurante prices are obviously a lot more expensive but for the fact they offer fresh fish and freshly oven roasted legs of lamb for instance I think it is worthwhile spending more for a special occasion. If you are on a budget then tapas at the bar cannot be beat.
