Super friendly waiters and the very cool place even though we had no views. I recommend you book.

Irresistible menu with many tra... read more We loved our dinner at this family-run restaurant in the lovely village of Mogarraz. Word of mouth advice did not disappoint us! Irresistible menu with many traditional dishes. They even grow their own wine which we greatly enjoyed. We had the 'Menu Tradicion ' ,with the traditional dishes of the region and outstanding quality meat. I think they probably make the best 'croquetas ' I have ever eaten before! Fantastic atmosphere and very pleasant and attentive service. Absolutely reasonable price. And do not miss a walk around the gorgeous village too! All in all , a fabulous experience.

I really enjoyed all the 5 dishes that were included, but my favorites were the spicy potato puree (patatas meneas) that is typical for the region and was a great new discovery for me and of course the morucha stake that was just melting in the mouth. The restaurant has a vinery (La Zorra) located just next doors, so we chose the La Vieja Zorra wine to go with the menu and it was spot on. The restaurant has beautiful views over the village and if you manage to be there around sunset, it’s the perfect romantic dinner spot.
