A restaurant clearly for foreign palates. Polite and professional staff, they took us a table on the same day, attentive, the owner charming but... for foreign palates.
This is a small intimate restaurant the service and food are excellent. It was great value for a superb meal. I would recommend this restaurant
Visited due to positive reviews. The food was nice enough but not the wow factor. We were expecting more seafood choices. We had mixed seafood of tuna, bream (I think) and small amount of squid. Hard to find as set back from the main drag.
This was honestly the most overpriced restaurant I tried in the Canary Islands — even more expensive than Paris I genuinely don’t understand how it has a 4.7 rating on Google. The decoration is lovely, I’ll give them that, and the service was okay. But the food? Very disappointing. We ordered the mixed seafood plate, and it felt like a joke: 2 shrimps, 3 small calamari rings, about 6–7 mussels, one tiny piece of fish, plus some bread, tortillas, and potatoes — ingredients that are very cheap at any local supermarket. And this cost 35€. Absolutely not worth it. Then the sangria — listed as “homemade,” so I ordered it without asking the price (my mistake). It turned out to be 10€ per glass. The taste was fine, but nothing special. In most places, you can get a whole liter for the price of two glasses here. What’s even more surprising is that restaurants just in front of the port are actually cheaper and offer better value. Overall, very disappointing experience. Not recommended. You’re much better off trying restaurants near the bus station or along the port.
We were attracted to dine here by a sign Home Made Fish Soup because we often make soup of fish that we have caught. The Soup was tomatoe based, with tuna and some other local fish and vegetables, seljanka type. It was simply excellent. Unfortunately our stay was short and we had not time to stay for a dinner with the endorsed tuna alternatives. Their turn is surely when we visit Mogan next time. A small and cosy restaurant with delicious good. Recommendations
