Careta has better quality food, better dishes, fantastic staff and prices for tourists and locals the same. I have been back so many times now it feels like home. Highly recommended

Loads of outside tables now as the short street it's on has been closed to road traffic. It can still be difficult to get a table at times which tells its own story!

We had lunch which included grilled fish (bocinegro), deep fried anchovies, salted potatoes, tomato salad and bread and aioli. There was plenty of food and it was quite good, but not excellent. The service was friendly and uncomplicated.

We had about five t... read more We came last year for a tapas lunch and it was a lovely experience, so we came back this year for my birthday and again it was a real treat. We had about five tapas dishes with a bottle of wine and it was all delightful, the staff were all great too. It was the perfect birthday meal!!!
