It 's unfortunate, but the Burger King experience in Moers is not as good as in most other places. But let 's start with some good news: Most importantly, the food is on par with the BK standard. Burgers, fries, breakfast meals, soft drinks and hot coffee: everything I have ordered so far at this location has been tasty and warm enough (in the case of food and hot drinks). Also, parents with kids will appreciate the play area outside the restaurant with a colorful slide. During the warmer months, the play area doubles as a patio where you can eat. Finally, this location has a drive thru and given some of the drawbacks of the restaurant itself, you may want to opt for driving thru instead of dining in. This brings us to the bad news: the first negative is the sharp 180 degree left turn in the driveway leading to the restaurant. The turn is so narrow that many cars have to back up midway through the turn in order to make it around. If there is oncoming traffic, things start to get really chaotic. It is somewhat inexplicable why management wouldn 't reroute traffic, e.g. by giving the property a dedicated driveway out and thus avoiding the current two way traffic configuration. Once you have made it to the restaurant and ordered your food, another unpleasant surprise may await you as you are looking for a place to sit down. As of late winter of 2013, the restaurant has some issues with table cleanliness, something I have not noted during previous visits in the last five years. On a recent breakfast visit, many of the tables were littered with crumbs, although only three other customers were in the restaurant and employees had not too much to do. I alerted staff about the littered tables upon leaving and they promised to clean them (something I could not verify as I was heading out). In comparison to other Burger King outlets in Germany, this one is relatively small. If a group of teenagers decide to dine in while you do, it the noise level gets high quite fast compared to other BK locations. From a standpoint of location, this restaurant sits at the outer edge of downtown Moers . This has two disadvantages: first, the restaurant is beyond walking distance from downtown, and second, you have to drive about eight minutes until you reach the Autobahn if you decide to go by car. All in all, if you crave some decent hamburgers and happen to be in Moers, the city 's only Burger King is your only option apart from McDonald 's downtown. Just look beyond this restaurant 's less than average environment inside or simply use the drive thru.
