We (two couples) visited the Torhaus Möhnesee on 01.11.2016 from 6.30am to about 20.00am: The red wine from our first order was shaken by the obviously little trained operation over my shirt, my pants, my shoes, table and bench. The young man tried in the following almost 10 minutes alone, first equipped only with a kitchen towel and three napkins to eliminate the erected chaos (including glass break), I had to ask for more napkins for my clothes. In addition to the apologies of the young man, there was no reaction from the house, only to our demand a one-time expression of regret, just as the hint that I could put the pants in the cleaning, the bill would then be taken over, the boss was informed... food and beverages, so far okay, but what was also very disturbing : According to the service staff, the kitchen was no longer possible at 7.30 p.m. to comply with the order of a Kaiserschmarren as a dessert. The toilets (and the hand wash basins there) were clearly visible the high frequency on the holiday, even paper towels were no longer available. Conclusion: a gatehouse visit that will remain in very bad memory.

However, at dinner we were a little disappointed. For us the price/performance ratio did not vote there. In detail: the pink fried juvenile medallions were very dry and with lots of pepper, the supplements were i.O... The maize pulp was also very dry and the gnocci were very sweet. The Zander had a lot of goose and the side salad was also more sweet. Finally, we cannot recommend the espresso. Too bad we had hoped for more from the food.
