I am not on the northern, further developed side of the lake, and has a nice large outside area to eat and drink, and wonderfully looking over the lake. there are free parking spaces. at both locations was the service before place, and the steak with salat at just 12 euro was excellent

Wir sind nachmittags eher zufällig im Seecafe eingekehrt, als wir an der Möhne spazieren waren.Von unserem Tisch aus hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick auf den S... read more Wir sind nachmittags eher zufällig im Seecafe eingekehrt, als wir an der Möhne spazieren waren.Von unserem Tisch aus hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick auf den See.Der Service war sehr gut (freundlich, aufmerksam, nicht aufdringlich).Das Essen war merkbar frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker (die Speisen ansprechend angerichtet, das Fleisch perfekt gebraten, die Saucen hervorragend).Die Preise waren absolut angemessen.Nachdem wir uns in der Vergangenheit regelmäßig gewundert haben, wie wenig dort aus der exklusiven Lage gemacht worden war, werden wir, zumal nun der Pächter gewechselt hat, in Zukunft sicher öfter dort essen.

Der Raum an sich sehr schmucklos und funktional, die Terasse davor mit Blick auf den See reißt es heraus. Das Essen (Grillbuffet) war in Ordnung, der Service okay, aber insgesamt fehlt einfach Charme und Herzlichkeit.

You can look directly on the boat ridge from CAFE and look at a part of the moose. In this section you can see many seafarers. There is also a dam that can run, the height is unfortunately only 40m and is therefore one of the smaller dams in Germany. The lake is fortunately divided into several sections, so there is something for everyone. On the side where boat rental, mini golf course and SEE CAFE are located, it is only so well visited by tourists. There are several possibilities for swimming. Many young people let the sun shine on the fur, but not only many families have used the good weather a day. An adjacent campsite invites you to spend several days there. On the opposite side, however, it is absolutely humanly empty, it is very idyllic. You can really rest. For hikers there are many possibilities on foot, which are usually in the shade. It's worth it.
