Food ok. Australian staff very friendly. Food overly priced. We felt ripped off. Ordered a banquet, didn't get our sweets or coffee! Management still wanted to charge us full price! Management tried to hurry us out of the place before we were finished! Had to argue with Management about getting a discount for food that wasn't served! That soured our night! The food is delicious with generous portion sizes (though I wouldn't mind them being slightly larger). The wait time isn't too long, and the service is friendly. I would definitely recommend it as the best Thai restaurant in the area.
Thai cuisine is one of my favorites, and Drouin Thai restaurant consistently exceeds my expectations. When enjoying a meal with family, we usually order a variety of dishes to share, and we always leave satisfied, all at a reasonable price. My personal favorite is the Pad Ped Nea, which features beef and vegetables stir-fried with curry and a hint of coconut milk. I strongly recommend pairing it with coconut rice and a piece of roti bread.
The food here is fantastic, and the staff are polite and friendly. My only complaint is that they don't label the takeout containers when I order gluten-free dishes for a family member. I often order about ten dishes, and then I have to hunt for the gluten-free one. Other than that, I absolutely love the food!
Had a very nice meal here last night. Really tasty and nicely cooked food. Gorgeous red duck curry. Mixed entree was lovely too.
This place is good. I think they more than compensate for what Caucasians consider spicy and make it very mild by Asian dish standards. The sweet and sour is the best I've found. Never had a meal from here that I didn't enjoy.
