Was Anonym at Da Nelson a mag?
restaurant easily reachable and with a parking space not far away. the local is charming: bright, clean and with very nice furnishings. the menu includes, in addition to pizza, also numerous first dishes and two gourmet sandwiches. pizza is very good, available in many variations and with the possibility to choose the type of dough. the weekend is created a lot of confusion because of the crowd waiting at the counter... What J3682TBrichardg dislikes about Da Nelson:
We had a quick and easy dinner here after a long day of travelling. Food was all homemade and tasted very good. Loved the antipasti polenta. Service was ok, interior simple but clean and fresh. Not a place for fine dining but great for a nice, fresh meal. View all feedback.

Lately, pizza is crushed as frozen.

Discreet cuisine, a little slow and little organized on takeaway pizza. Wait.

Always good pizza. celery service. cozy place with aesthetic details very guessed. The first room is a little dark. I like to see what I eat.

This pizzeria had been highly recommended to us before our trip to Modena. We were staying about 20 minutes walk outside Modena centre and the restaurant was about another 20 minutes walk further out. We were a little surprised to find on our arrival that this was more a local cafe than a restaurant. As you enter, the first part of the pizzeria is just a plain cafe-style area but we were then ushered to a back area which seemed to be where 'diners ' were seated, as opposed to those who were perhaps just popping in for a quick pizza or to collect a takeaway. The area was, again, quite simple but was clean and comfortable. The pizzeria is known for doing super-thin bases on its pizzas so we tried two of those. I suppose that the obvious problem with a super thin base is that it will burn more easily and so it was with ours, with several sections of crust quite black. The other problem with a super thin crust is that where the topping sits, the base gets very soggy, and where there is little or no topping, it gets very crispy. Overall the pizza was ok but not particularly better than any number of other pizzerias in the area. The staff here were fine and we experienced no problems as other reviewers have stated.
