Perhaps because, mindful of the historic Altero, I remained... read more As a good 57-year-old from Modena, I once again reiterate the excellence of this pizza by the slice. Perhaps because, mindful of the historic Altero, I remained faithful to the square pizza and after many years I still find the goodness of the ingredients and that unmistakable flavor that cannot be found elsewhere. Of course, tastes have changed as there are many types of pizzas whereas once upon a time there was a choice between white and red: today there are also very good gourmet pizzas even if I always prefer margherita and Modena with pancetta. The french fries were also very good and all the staff were very courteous. Important note: we rarely consume on site but it is enough to have everything packaged and take it home and with a quick reheating in the oven everything comes back as freshly baked. Thank you and well done, keep going like this: the shop in Piazza Mazzini is a true institution for Modena!!
