I, along with others, used to see Primo Pasta as a budget-friendly pasta restaurant. However, their updated menu and modern decor defy this belief. The prices are higher now, but the vegan pizza we tried was one of the best in town. The menu offers a variety of options including burgers, pasta, pizza, and other sides. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious green veg bowl, tossed in a tangy oil. The decor was tasteful and the staff was attentive. Overall, a great experience!
The vegan menu at this restaurant is excellent! We tried the pizza, kids nuggets, vegan chikn parmi, garlic bread, soy cappuccino, and vegan wine. The mock chikn and cheese were especially delicious. Although slightly pricey for cafe food, it was still enjoyable. Please note that the white potato chips are not vegan, only the sweet potato chips are. The vegan main meals do not come with a complimentary garlic bread like the non-vegan options, so you must purchase it separately. The vegan wine is clearly labeled on the menu. Overall, the food was very tasty and perfect for a pub-style meal.
Although Caffe Primo is not a vegan restaurant, they are very accommodating to vegans. They offer a separate vegan menu with options such as vegan schnitzel, vegan cheese, and vegan aioli. I tried the vegan schnitzel burger during my visit and it was delicious, especially when paired with the side of sweet potato fries. I would definitely return to try more of their vegan options. On my second visit, I noticed they also had a vegan muffin on display at the counter.
Went there today at modbury and had pizza they put lots of anchovies on it and it was fantastic. Thank you.
My partner and I have been going to Prio's for over 20 years, ever since the $19 promo they had. We used to love the Schnitzel, which used to cover the entire plate with a side of crispy chips and a delicious salad. However, our recent experience was very disappointing. We ordered two chicken Schnitzels, which turned out to be very small, overcooked pieces that were almost unrecognizable as chicken. The "salad" that came with it was just chopped cabbage, a major letdown. We spent over $60 on this meal and felt it wasn't worth it at all. I have had two disappointing meals at this location recently and will not be returning. I hope Prio's can improve their quality and not prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. It's a shame to see a restaurant decline over time instead of getting better.
