I tried a bear cl... read more I was one of the first customers in the door today and was greeted by a great selection of breakfast pastries and a few ready-made sandwiches. I tried a bear claw, a blueberry danish, and a fried apple pie. All were sweet and fresh, but the fried pie was a little bit of a disappointment...more baked than fried and without those crispy edges a good fried pie has. I was hoping for some breads to choose from, but I may have gotten there too early. Will try my luck again...the bake shop is just a short walk from my house.

When I arrived, I noted that they had classic bir... read more I needed a cake for my wife’s birthday and after a quick search online, I figured I would give Pollman’s a go. When I arrived, I noted that they had classic birthday cakes on hand that could be decorated with a message but I decided to go with the cookies and cream shown in the pics. The staff was courteous and attentive and I was in and out with the cake without issue. My wife and I enjoyed the cake, the frosting was creamy and delicious and the cake was moist. Recommended.

Even though there was a host of customers being served, I could still see all the many beautiful Easter pastries that look like works of art. And, noticing that I am walking-insecure, a cute little lady, Katie, immediately spotted me and raced over to be if assistance.

Ordered a cake on Feb 25 for March 12 to be picked up at 12. Arrived around 12. After they located it. It wasn 't ready. I know places are shorthanded and over... read more Ordered a cake on Feb 25 for March 12 to be picked up at 12. Arrived around 12. After they located it. It wasn 't ready. I know places are shorthanded and over worked. But it was placed 2 weeks in advance. Then to have the manager basically tell me ' we 're shorthanded wish I had a better answer ' as to why I waited a hour past time for my order. The cake was delicious but the lettering looked rushed. But overall the cake was a success at the party they made me late for.

I added the doll and pearls but every thing else was great except for the pink icing flavor was a bit much of food color flavor but next time I will order a lighter icing color. All in all this cake is beautiful and moist. Will order again !
