The food at this restaurant is outstanding. My wife and I have been loyal customers for many years, and the restaurant has received numerous awards for its cuisine. I especially love the roasted chicken, fried fish, and steakburger. For sides, the baked beans, corn on the cob, and fried onion rings are fantastic. The oyster po'boy was unpleasant and only had four oysters on it, while the shrimp po'boy had five shrimp. I spent nearly $20.00 for that meal. I would not recommend eating there. View all feedback.

Just Good old cooking there, Love it
I normally try to dine in but My Husband/eating partner insisted we give them a try even though we were very busy today we stopped The food was good and the combo has 2 sides at a reasonable price the only little thing was the baked beans were lacking a little flavor but the potato salad and fish were great So Imma gonna give them 4 stars this time but I’ll be back to try something else and dine in You guys were quick and the food was hot I appreciate at that a lot today see you again soon
Always been a favorite since they opened. Changed this week. Sunday was ordering take out at 4:40 and was told well we close at 5 . Today pickup take out and no fries with my hamburger go back up there and after debate as whether it came with fries. they put a few in a bag and add back to the bag with the cold burger.
Very sweet people and the chicken roasted was the bomb very very good
I have been there over a dozen times, had decent meal. Today I had a horrible experience. Usually I call before I pick up my to go order, 3 piece dark and 2 sides. When I called today around 4.10pm I was told that the chicken just came out of the oven. When I picked up my meal, I asked for no bread, sub dc sauce for my onion rings, which is my usual order. I was told that there is a 50 cent up charge! I have never paid extra!! I don’t care for the 50 cents, it’s the policy that matters. I explained the lady that I have never been charged, I was told that the owner wants to charge. Anyway, I got bk to work and found out that the three pieces consisted of a burnt small thigh, small wings and burnt leg that was dry. I had the worst meal ever. This is the last time that I bought a meal from DCs. You have lost my business, not to mention most of colleagues from work as well. You are in hospitality business, learn how to talk to customers.
