The drinks were... read more I ordered food for my wife, who was at the university hospital. We got a Checker burger, a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and three sweet teas. The drinks were the only good part of the meal. The burger was drenched in mayo, ketchup, and mustard—there was so much sauce that it was practically inedible. On the other hand, the chicken sandwich barely had a touch of mayo and just a small piece of lettuce. How can one sandwich be overloaded with condiments while the other is almost bare? It's unbelievable. I am done with Checkers—there's no consistency and the food was just unappetizing. I've lost my loyalty as a customer for good.

I felt a bit embarrassed when she informed me that they were out of lettuce, but I was impressed by her excellent customer service. She politely asked me to pull my vehicle around so they could prepare our order fresh, which she then brought to our car. She is definitely a candidate for management! There was no wait at all! I believe she should be retained in her current position but compensated like a manager because she has the potential to greatly benefit the company.

Reluctantly I dr... read more Fast food restaurants are few in Downtown Mobile Alabama. I was hungry and needed food on the go. A Checkers was a block away and that was all. Reluctantly I drove through, ordered a bacon mother cruncher burger. Absolutely positively the best burgerI've eaten in a long, long time--hot, flavorful, juicey, with a smidge of crunch. Fries were seasoned, hot and crispy, and icecold sweet tea. All for about ten bucks. Fast service. Down home friendly employees. I will return!
