I am giving a rating of... read more The Barbecue ribs And mac cheese is absolutely the most delicious in town hands down. There mac cheese however needs a lot of grooming. I am giving a rating of 3 due to the fact that this restaurant is ALWAYS CLOSED! It seems as if they are only opened about 3 days out of a week. I stopped going to the restaurant due to constantly being disappointed with them being closed. I can't take a business serious that store hours are inconsistent

I went there today and got a smothered pork chop plate and a slice of... read more 11/10/21: I'm so sorry to say that I will no longer patron at this establishment anymore. I went there today and got a smothered pork chop plate and a slice of cake for my husband and my total was almost $16.00. The problem I have with that is they only gave me ONE pork chop which is a total rip-off for the price I paid and they usually give two pork chop like at Michigan Ave Mary's. Rather than arguing about the fact, I just won't spend any money with them again. I've been trying to spend money at Black owned businesses more during this pandemic but this one has lost a customer!2yrs ago: This is one of my favorite places to eat good soul food at. I love their dressing on Sundays. My favorite order is turkey wings, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, greens, corn bread muffin, and a slice of red velvet cake. Seafood Fridays are good too.
