Yes! Me and my partner loves brunch! So we make sure to explore and to try local cafes or restaurants in our road trips. Found this lovely and cozy cafe in Mitchelton - Des Alpes. I had Seafood Crepe with Rosti (prawns, scallops, fish, grilled Swiss Cheese $21) - so goodand my partner had Eggs on Blackwood (two poached eggs, Rosti potatoes, avocado, grilled tomato $16.50) - yummy . And a soy flat white and meringues... View all feedback.

I wonder if I made a mistake with my order. Is this restaurant known for its fondue only? Des Alpes offers a mix of German and Swiss cuisine, and I had heard praises about it before finally visiting. View all feedback.
Went after the Mitchelton Parkrun. Coffee was so good that we ended up staying for another. Staff were very friendly and relaxed.
My sister and I meet regularly with a friend for lunch, but as our friend was away when my sister celebrated her 70th birthday, we wanted to do something a bit more special this time. We had decided the 13th April was the date to suit us best, and that we would like to meet at Des Alpes at Mitchelton. However, on phoning we found they would not be open on that particular day, the Thursday before Easter, as their owner and chef was indisposed. They were wanting the time to prepare for the Easter Break, since they were short-staffed. We were disappointed, but before we could decide on another venue, they rang to say they would accommodate us. We were so glad they did, as we could not have had a better experience anywhere. They had put a special decoration on our table since we were celebrating a birthday, and when dessert was served, there was a lighted candle in my sister's dish, together with a freebie that could be used at a later date. We all had the pork belly, followed by delicious apple and coconut crepes. The meals and service were exceptional, and the experience altogether just what we had hoped it would be. Thank you so much Monika and the staff at Des Alpes for going out of your way for us at a very difficult time. We will be back.
I had my 50th Birthday dinner there 3 years ago and always meant to do a review. So better late than never... The staff were amazing i had about 50 people and the food was amazing and delivered on time, I also supplied my own wine and beer and they were more than happy for this. I could not have had a better night and all guests loved the restaurant and some have been back since. Gail Taylor
It was very different to what I am used to and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a vegan vegetarian pizza. Delicious!! - I would go back every week to have it if i could afford to. The 2 I dined with had different meat dishes and they said theirs were also very enjoyable. Also being Gluten and Dairy Intolerant, I found the menu a lot more accomodating and appealing than most. One of the few times Ive gone out and felt perfectly fine after a meal.
A good breakfast menu. Coffee is good, and it is one of the few places on Blackwood St that bother to keep their doors closed so the air-conditioning actually works. It's on my summer list
