Old County Seat And Grill - Mitchell

First night there. Had to check what the whole hype was about...as I have been there in the past when it was under different ownership conditions....Very impressed... Great atmosphere, friendly staff service affordable prices... The waitress was right on the ball (the little young lady I know and who knows my children) did not have to wait very long for our food, waitress came to table several times to ask how our food was and if we needed any refills on our drinks.... Dining salad bar was excellent... I had the White Chicken Taco soup, which was amazing, salad bar was good with various choices. I had the ribeye steak sandwich..pure perfection... Hubby had the 1/3 pound burger with all fixations said it was very good... Would recommend this place to everyone.... Just a great family restaurant/bar....I praise the new owners Tricia Kim their staff to relax all their hard work time to make this a great place....I will definitely be back!!!!

Had dinner tonight. Saturday 545-700. Place was almost packed. You were short too. The staff took care of everyone without being stressed and the food was very good. I ordered the grilled cod. Expects a Blande as typical for many places in rural environments. This came Cajun style with a little extra! Fish was NOT cooked. It wasn't boiled either. Was one of the best dinners I had everywhere! I didn't ask that it was cooked better than it was served tonight!

I generally do not write reviews for everything. However, I feel that I needed this experience. My wife and I decided we wanted to go out to eat, and they decided we should try Old Country. We sat down and ordered immediately. It took a while until our food arrived. I will say, however, that the food was excellent. I ordered the New York Strip Steak and my wife just ordered a burger. Steak was almost boiled to perfection, and the taste was better than any steak I had in the state of Iowa! (Only better steak I remember was a steak house from Minneapolis) The Burger was also excellent! Although it took a while to get our food open for less than a week, I'm sure that this will be shortened with time. The price was very good for the part. We will visit again! Happy to have such a big steak that is local!

I was here several times and had a variety of different things from the menu. All foods are excellent. The fried chicken, the fried pork tenderloin, the fish on Friday nights, and the grilled chicken sandwich are all a must try. Seriously excellent food and wonderful people. So nice to have this place so close at home

This place has a wonderful staff and the owner will make you feel right at home! The food is delicious�
