Hicks Cafe - Mitchell

They offer a large variety of soups and sandwiches, and the salad is delicious! We enjoyed our lunch with a wide selection of food, including packing options and sandwiches. My favorite dishes were the potato salad and the ice salad.

A friend and I visited Hicks Café yesterday and I must say, it was truly a delightful experience! I had heard about this cafe and had walked past it numerous times, but finally had the chance to dine there and I was not disappointed. My friend and I both ordered the chicken quesadillas and they were absolutely delicious. The quesadillas were prepared perfectly, with tender chicken, fresh orange peppers, and a crisp tortilla. The dish was accompanied by salsa and a tangy sauce, which added an extra burst of flavor. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and I can't wait to come back again.

We came here for lunch today and were informed that the menu is written on a chalkboard as it changes frequently. We decided to try the summer sausage sandwich and the wing special, which came with coleslaw and potato salad. The sandwich was generous in portion size, but the slaw was a bit small. The potato salad was outstanding. The wings were decent, although they appeared to be pre-cooked and frozen. We also took a muffin to go, but were disappointed that it was dry. Overall, the service was good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I would consider returning if I were in the area again.

Arrived just before closing so opted for something fast. The sandwich was a mile high filled with flavour. Can’t wait to return and enjoy a more leisurely lunch.
