Made a quick stop on the way to Lawrence, KS. Wasn't driving so I had an adult beverage. Bartender was really nice. Bevy was good. Looks like a great place to hang out and watch sporting events. View all feedback.

update: 2 months later Stables responded............ I've been dining at Stables for 20+ years. Tonight was such a disappointment. $80 to feed 3. Two sandwiches and alfredo. The portions were smaller. There was a charge for everything. View all feedback.
Great burgers, well stocked bar. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.
Over priced bar food. Beer was warm. Service was good.

Horrible service. Waited well over an hour for our food around lunch time on a Monday, only a couple other families dining in. Even the people that came in quite a while after us got their food first. No apology for the wait and all they did was comped 2 of our sodas. Very disappointed in the service we received. Update: Manager is incredibly friendly and made things up to us. We gave it another chance and the food was very good. Will likely go back again.
Food very mediocre! Service wasn’t bad but the food is just not what it used to be.
