I've been wanting to go to Messenger coffee House ever since I heard about it from a friend. I'd also been missing my favorite bakery, Ibis bakery on the hill, so I was very excited to see that it had moved in with Messenger. I tried the cinnamon roll based on another review on here. It was terrible. Dry, hard, microwaved to mouth burning hot at the center. They said this item was “done from the kitchen” and that I’d have to wait for it. So I waited about ten minutes, and got a tied plastic bag with a hard plastic container inside with a dry hard cinnamon roll in it. Nice atmosphere, coffee is good and very strong. I wish they had longer hours though
They have fun seasonal menus and the staff is always friendly. Great pastries, great coffee, and great atmosphere.

This is an updated review. Something has happened with the pastry — it’s just not as good as it used to be. It seems like I’m eating yesterdays pastry. Nothing is as crisp or flaky as it used to be
