The food is very good. I've had 2 different waiters that were pretty rude. The first one actually yelled at us. We were asking questions about the menu and he YELLED that he wanted our drink orders first. 2nd.... met a couple we hadn't seen in a while. What Deen T doesn't like about El Caporal Mexican:
Ordered Chili Rellano and Huevos con Chorizo plus order of queso dip, large dos xx and diet Pepsi. The initial Rellano came out and tasted spoiled. NBD, ordered another and tasted same. Huevos con Chorizo was good as always. We will not order the Chili Rellanos there again as we have never had this issue at Carmelitas in Laurie and the Huevos con Chorizo is just as good. Wasn't happy got charged $2 for chz sauce via red on enchilada. Wasn't told either
Food was good. Service was excellent. My only complaint would be my burrito. It was a chicken burrito and was literally chicken in a soft tortilla with nothing else. It did have red sauce on top as well as lettuce and tomato on top both nothing in the burrito. It felt like a very expensive chicken soft taco. I expected more of a burrito. The staff could not have been friendlier and service more prompt. For that I give them a good rating.
The service was excellent, the food was hot and came out really fast. We were in an out in an hour and we took our time. Tasty margaritas too!
Fish tacos smelled bad and tasted bad Margaritas great, chips and salsa very good. Shrimp cocktail good.
Very good! Great rice and chips. And the atmosphere is friendly. Not too busy for lunch even on a Saturday.
