I didn’t think there was any good Chinese food in Missoula but I was wrong! So happy to find this place. Wish they had more seating inside but it’s great for pick up. View all feedback.
What Barb Gmeiner doesn't like about Pagoda Chinese Thai:
Ordered the Moo Shu Pork it used to be the best in town. Somewhere along the way the cook forgot what Hoison sauce is , which is a key ingredient for this dish (to put on the pancakes) They had some thin sauce that resembled sweet sour and it totally changed the taste and not in a good way. I wouldn’t even mind the higher costs were the food done correctly. Sadly, I’m not sure I’d order this again. We won’t speak of... View all feedback.
I've lived in Montana for over 10 years all over the place and this is hands down the best restaurant in the whole state. Absolutely delicious food, and amazing service.
Food has gone downhill since new ownership. Chicken was dry, soup not the same. And ragoons fell apart with a mushy watery center.. Gave it more than one chance and very disappointed.
This place is amazing! Excellent, friendly service and the food is fresh and delicious!! Not a lot of seating so consider take out if there are a lot of people in your party or it’s a busy time. They got 5 of us in no problem. Spent just a couple of days in Missoula and we went here twice! Will be back. ? Thank you, Pagoda for the wonderful food and friendly welcome. Our experience couldn’t have been better!
Vegan options are not really vegan. Gluten free options have gluten in them. We ordered two vegan fried rice dishes and both had egg in them. Ordered a third dish that was gluten free and had a reaction to the sauce.. If you have legitimate food allergies, do not trust this restaurant.
I've been looking forward to eating at this place for a while. I live in Seeley Lake and I don't get to experience much authentic Thai Chinese food. I'm from Washington State originally but I have traveled quite a bit and I do know what authentic Thai cuisine is supposed to taste like. Don't go here if you want that. I am so disappointed in this place. Food is bland AF. I ordered chow mein, vegetable potstickers, garlic chicken, and pineapple fried rice. There is no pineapple in the fried rice at all it was pretty much yellow curry rice. Pot stickers were put in a paper to go bag sauce is great but it's overall not that wonderful. Chow mein was probably the worst I've ever had. I like the amount of vegetables that they have in their dishes, but it desperately needs more seasoning spices sauce whatever. The garlic chicken was under the same category as all the pad thai so I assumed it came with noodles, don't assume. I ate it cuz I was hungry and I spent $56 on everything. 100% would never go here again.
