Terrible serviceCame at 4pm on the Monday of Civic HolidayThe restaurant was like a ghost town, probably only 2 other tables being served at most.

I came across this place just by searching cafe around me on google maps for a place to study and it lead me here.

Walked in and the place is empty but there was someone ahead of us already waiting to be seated and then a couple walked in after us. We waited a few more minutes to be seated, no idea where all the employees were. The hostess took us to a dirty booth and dropped the menus down and said oh I'll clean that. Firstly yes you will, secondly why are you taking us to a dirty table at an empty restaurant. I refused to sit so we stood there for a good 5 minutes. She disappeared. I saw her walking and talking with another employee, WTF. I caught her eye and she then scrambled to find a cloth. She returns and moves all the crumbs that were on the table to the seats. WTF. That's cleaning. She said oh I got side tracked. By what. Hardly any customers. Ridiculous. The floors were all dirty, she didn't even clean the table well. Honestly we felt like us being there was an inconvenience. You would think if your restaurant is empty on a Saturday night, you have an issue and you would like to keep all customers that walk in happy. We decided this place was a joke and walked out. Never again.

Well...Can't believe it was my first visit here considering I live/eat in this area for many years...I must say... I love the ambience. Even over a busy lunch time...a booth enables you to have a nice long lunch visit with friends without having to "shout" and privacy is still there. The food was "ok"...I had a Greek salad with chicken.Not exceptional...but can a salad be?My dining mates ...One had flatbread...okThe other a chicken sandwich that had avocado that oozed from the sandwich...thus a knife and work. Service slow...arrived there for a 12:00 lunch ... lunch brought at 12:45 P.M.Apolgies were offered as there was a large luncheon party.Go again?Probably...Great specials...Good service as well...NickyAgain...loved the ambience.
