Anything that lasted 50 years must have its unique quality, especially for restaurants. This is your typical family restaurant with their basic qualities: good food, great values, and friendly service. We tried their breakfast, onion & clam chowder soups, and Pork Souvlaki. Not going to lie ,the decor is tired and it's in a strip mall ,but that being said they have been in business for fifty years! Basic home cooking that's good value and hits the spot ,the beef dip on a bun was very good tasting and very good portion and there coleslaw is good ! Came here on a Sunday afternoon, around noonThe place was packedBoth inside and outside on the patio.
Amazing place with great service and the best homemade soups. The service is pretty good. If you're looking for a great soup then don't look any further
Noooooo!!!!!!! What happened to one of my favourites?! Had a 12oz Steak with home fries, veges and saladT'was dissapointingly watery.
I went for the 50 year anniversary prime rib deal as well it tasted great the thing that mad me angry was that for the special they raised the price of the soft drinks from 2.95 to 3.25 and charged you that price if you got the special but if you ordered off the regular menu you would only pay 2.95 for your drink. and even then they dont offer a free refill on your drink. i could buy a case of pop for that price.
Just went for supper. They had a 50 year special menu for supper - would you believe $5.95 for Prime Rib.. yes, I said $5.95!!! It was delicious... Well worth the price.
