I haven't been to a burger joint who offers the same gourmet offerings as this one. I had the Italian burger which came loaded with portobello mushrooms and a roasted red pepper cut like a perfect slice of cheese. I have to be honest. The burger was probably the best chicken burger I had ever eaten. However, after eating I went up to he counter to tell them what a great experience I had and there was Noone to be foun... Dined here with my husband and two children on a Friday evening in February. The place was pretty empty. We had burgers, fries and Milkshakes. They were out of Strawberry (sad face for mum) so opted for Vanilla and Chocolate. They were basic so ok. Chocolate wasn't very chocolately, very mild in flavour. They have a few options and good add-ons but for basic burger eaters I found the pates itself not anything special... View all feedback.
I was in this place a few times and didn't want to go, but ruled over. A pleasant surprise. It's now a company business that can be the reason. The location was clean, staff friendly and food was good. We all enjoyed our burgers, fries and drinks. Toppings were perfect and the frits and onion rings were generous. Go back and hopefully it will remain the same or improve.
First the good: The onion rings are the first rate! That's the few you get per serving. The bad: There was little beef taste either the 4 ounces or 8 ounces burgers. These burgers may not be anything but a placeholder for the toppings. The ugly: Instead of a real mayonnaise, the menu board shows only Light Mayonnaise . If they skip something like a compulsion, you have to ask yourself what else they skip. Service was slow for an almost empty restaurant at 2:45 on Saturday afternoon judgement: Where? When this restaurant is typical of the chain, I am am amazed at the survival of the chain.
We felt like a few Gourmetburger Saturday night and went to the Hero's Creditview location. Not very busy. We did it. Burgers tasted like they were cooked. Only a few barbeque marks. Meat cooked, but cooked? The toppings were almost unexistent. Everyone agreed they were terrible. Onion ring order was minuscule with less than 10 onion rings. Friends were okay. Overpriced for what we have. Definitely not gourmet.
Here on the way home from the trip overnight in London. My turkeyburger was barely cooked. I like it well done and it was far from it. My ciabatta bunge was soaked in spices. Soggy. A small piece of cheese was thrown on it. We ordered frits, simple and sweet potatoes. They were soggy, not crispy. So disappointed with the meal. Burgers are not big and overpriced for what you get. The concept of the restaurant is a good idea, simply not made right.
Good burgers and fries! Lots of toppings to choose from so go big or go home! Friendly service take home or eat in your choice.
