With friendly staff and generous portions, it's no wonder that it has a loyal customer base. While some reviewers have mentioned minor disappointments with the food, overall, Country Fish and Chips remains a staple in the area. With fresh-cut fries and a traditional approach to seafood, it's definitely worth a visit for some classic fish and chips done right. Whether it's the flaky halibut or the friendly atmosphere reminiscent of Nova Scotia, the restaurant seems to be a hit with locals and visitors alike. So, if you're in the area and craving some solid fish and chips, be sure to look for the green sign and stop by Country Fish and Chips for a tasty meal.
I've always loved this fish and chips place is one of the best ones in Port CreditKid-friendliness: It's just a little restaurant kids can totally
Fried mushrooms are the best. French fries tasted like they were re fried. Fish was delicious but again the batter tasted a bit refried. I will go back as this is one of the best places to get fried fish and chips. The service was very friendly and
One of the best fish and chips places I have eaten at in Canada. The batter was so light and crispy. The chips cooked just right. Will be back next time I am in the area.
We got the order to go and we were extremely disappointed.Wish we had returned it.The food was bad. The Halibut fish was coated in loads of batter making very oily and it was burnt too.The fries were extremely stale.
Best halibut I have ever eaten. So crispy and delicious.
