Can't pass up on any offer just to discover a better recipe and so far Mohawk Casino is tops on my list. Cobs Bread is located at plaza development on the northeast corner of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Ave E. While venturing into this outlet today, I was drawn to the display featuring butter tarts. Besides weight, what do I have to lose? A box of 6 homemade tarts for $9.50 (no taxes) and the sale was a done deal. I decided to leave the purchase of the many delicious bread products for another trip. Service was friendly and prompt. But what about the tart? Well, I was hoping for about double the amount of pastry to go with the great tart filling but that's my personal preference. I was left wanting. Still, I give this tart a 4 out of 5.
