Adobo Cafe - Mississauga

I retract my original review since Chef Charles left. Both the menu and food quality has suffered greatly. I don't patronize this restaurant any more.

I would have to say Charles the owner of adobo café are almost like family to me. As I'm a single business owner I usually do not bring my lunch to work as Charles and his staff always take care of me. With his daily specials all hand made for a reasonable price why would I need to bring my lunch to work. Great spot for lunch and their catering is amazing too.

It's one of those places that you get taken to, by a good friend, because you'd never know it was there by just driving by as it is hidden away in a modern industrial estate. Mexican with a twist of Mediterranean is the best way to describe the food. I had the daily special of roasted Lemon Chicken on a bed of linguini with a side Caesar salad. The chicken was roasted with large strips of lemon peel that lent the dish a mellow zing that didn't overpower the palate. Meatballs on a bun was the other tempting special, plus there is a wide variety of fresh sandwiches to choose from. I could see me trying the whole menu if I were lucky enough to be a regular. My company is just down the street we dine at Adobo quite often. Chef Charles always has interesting, tasty food on his menu. Try the specials...they're always fantastic! I highly recommend the Banh Mi sandwhich. Gerry Defined Beauty Systems

After eating at Adobo Café I will never eat anywhere else for lunch. I have been coming for a few months now and there is always something different to try. Chef Charles is very creative and clearly very passionate about his work. The prices are great and the café is very clean. My favourites are the Buffalo Chicken Panini and the Turkey Melt, that is if I don't succumb to the daily hot special which can be anything from house made fish and chips to Lasagna to Jerk Chicken. Everything is made fresh in house and they also cater to the local businesses if anyone is interested in having this bought into their office.
