I used the drive-thru to order a Number 1 with no cheese on toasted buns. The lady repeated my order, then asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for a Dr Pepper, swapped the fries for onion rings, and added jalapeños on the side. There were only two cars ahead of me, and one left as I pulled up to the window. The lady was preparing my drink and asked for my name and payment. I paid $12 for an $11.42 order and received my change but no receipt, which I guess is standard at Whataburger. I then waited about 10–15 minutes for my order. When I got home, I realized the order was wrong. The sandwich was on plain toasted bread that didn’t seem toasted enough, and the burger was completely different from what I requested. I called and asked to speak with the manager. I spoke with a man who introduced himself as Robert but later said his name was Diego. He offered to replace my meal, but since I would have to drive 8 miles back and it was almost 10:30 pm, I just felt defeated. What a disappointing way to end the day—getting an incorrect order and such poor service. I won’t be making the mistake of ordering from here again. It was a complete waste of money and trust, especially after they confirmed my order. Thanks for nothing, Robert/Diego.
The service was quite slow, despite the fact that there were very few customers in the restaurant. I observed that the staff at the drive-thru were just lounging around while the food sat untouched inside. How did I know this? I walked in to see for myself. Unfortunately, this Whataburger feels like a place I have to go to because it's so close to home, but the service quality is consistently disappointing.
When my order arrived, the first thing I noticed was that my onion rings were only half full. I approached a staff member, who I believe was the manager, and he assured me that he would bring me another order. However, 15 minutes have passed, and I'm still waiting. I've already finished my burger and am now thinking about leaving without my onion rings. I only had the four onion rings that came in the half-empty box. I'm quite disappointed.
We waited a long time for our food, and the cashier kept trying to serve us the wrong order. When we finally received our meals, I discovered a dark hair in my burrito. I immediately threw it away and regretted not taking a photo. It's evident that this Whataburger does not follow proper hairnet regulations.
This restaurant provides outstanding service, featuring courteous staff and quick food delivery. Even with six cars in front of me, I managed to place my order and leave in about ten minutes, which I believe is a reasonable timeframe for taking orders, preparing food, and serving it. My order was sizable, and everything was accurate. I highly recommend this spot.
