Riptide has consistently delicious food, although sushi rolls can be inconsistent. Service is lacking at booths, but better at teppan tables or sushi bar. Many patrons go for great sushi in the neighborhood. While some may be dissatisfied, others have great experiences. Reservations may be unreliable, but the teppan tables always deliver good meals. Families enjoy the large portions and friendly service at the teppan tables, making celebrations extra special. With reasonable pricing and fantastic food, Riptide is a go-to spot for Japanese cuisine, despite some minor hiccups.
This was a our first trip to Riptide and the food was outstanding. We ordered family style house chicken and the chicken fried rice and it did not disappoint and the portions were gigantic!! We also had the artichoke appetizer which was great as well. The pricing was very much in line and we'll certainly be back for more!!
Came to Riptide for 2nd time in 2 weeks and it delivered again!!! Artichoke appetizer is a must have as is the family style special chicken and fried rice!!
The prices at this restaurant are exorbitantly high and the food does not justify the cost. The service was extremely lacking with a lack of attention from the staff. There were no excuses for the subpar experience.
Love this place the service is always great and the food is stellar. Try the smoked sashimi, it's a game changer. Update: still great food for reasonable prices. One of our long time favorites.
I love teppan, but this place adds a little twist on the traditional Beni Hana style. The chefs are fun and friendly for all ages.
