What Alvin J doesn't like about Sangam Catering:
I ordered two chicken curries: Chicken Madras and chicken curry. Halfway through my meal, I discovered a fly in the chicken curry! What is going on? What happened to food quality and safety? The food was revolting; it tasted like a watery tomato sauce. Overall, the meal was terrible. I will never order from any of their locations again. This place deserves a 0/5, but unfortunately, I have to give it 1 star to submit... View all feedback.

Had lunch there yesterday. The food was good. I had the butter chicken, which didn?t have a lot of chicken, but I am most partial to the sauce anyways, so that was fine. My lunch co enjoyed their verbally told tdd total at the casl, plus gratuity. The total before the tip didn?t make sense to me, so I requested an itemized receipt. The prices were 20% higher than the prices on the menu. I commented that the menu prices should get updated, but just got a shrug in responseand I left it at that. I do understand that during these difficult times updating prices on menus must be a hassle. So maybe if it is too much of a problem they shouldn?t have them listed at all? I don?t have a solution. But if prices arelisted on a menu, that is what I expect to be charged unless I am told otherwise prior to ordering and eating, which I was not. Paid it, but won?t be back.
Exceptional vegan options! I ordered the medium spice level, and it had just the right kick. There were plenty of dishes to choose from. As a vegan, finding a great Indian restaurant has been quite a challenge. Many places offer vegetarian dishes but often include ghee and yogurt, which aren’t suitable for Vegans. This was the first time I felt confident in my ordering since going vegan. Fantastic job! I will definitely be returning. Oh, and my dad, who isn't vegan, tried the Rogan Josh and absolutely loved it!
At Sangam, I felt right at home. Chef Kanu is incredibly friendly and has a wonderful way of sharing his knowledge of Indian cuisine. The chicken korma and Kadai Paneer were the best I've ever tasted! It's impossible to eat just once—every bite is delicious. This is definitely my go-to spot for Indian food! Thank you, Kanu, for your warm hospitality. I highly recommend it!
