We had another fantastic meal at the restaurant in the Portrait Gallery! We've visited several times, and each experience has been delightful. Today, we enjoyed a lovely evening on the terrace and were excited to see the dishes on the constantly changing menu. We always order the crispy Brussels sprouts because they're delicious no matter how they're prepared. Alongside those, we savored the flatbread, and the combin... View all feedback.

Sarah at the bar is wonderful and really made our experience enjoyable. However, the manager on Thursday night left something to be desired. He didn’t check in with me about my food at all, and when I sent back the pork tacos, he didn’t come over to ask what the issue was or see if we wanted anything else. That’s disappointing customer service, especially from someone with prior experience as a restaurant manager. On... View all feedback.
We came on a date night. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, ahi tuna, and shrimp and grits all at once (it was kinda late (9:40). Everything arrived one at a time like a tapas bar... perfectly. Espresso martini and old fashioned was awesome, best old fashioned I've tasted (and it was my husband's, lol). Service was phenomenal. Chef Johnny is on point!
Highly recommend PG for Sunday brunch. Got to try quite a bit Flatbread, avocado everything, chicken waffles, and breakfast sandwich. They were all very good. The **** Mary and mimosa flight were great. We will certainly give dinner a try.Food: 5/5
Hands down the best brunch I have ever hate. The hangover flatbread was amazing, wife got the brisket has which was to die for. The avocado toast was so good!! You must come here! The food is also delicious for dinner and the cocktails are the best around!
First visit- definitely not last!Small plates were delicious and extremely reasonable on the wallet. Hidden gem for sure. 10/10Also the drinks were amazing. Can't wait to try other small plates!
Great restaurant/bar in Matthews. The food is delicious and the drinks are definitely worth trying. The **** Mary was a little on the sweeter side for my taste, but it went well with the flatbread I ordered. My husband got the brisket hash and it was well cooked and just as good. The service was great! Our server disappeared a few times, but I appreciated it because we had a bigger party and that gave us time to chat. The bar area itself is really nice, we were in the room behind the bar which was nice, but I could see it getting loud.Parking: It's in uptown Matthews, so during busy hours you might have to look for parking then walk up, but there are spaces in front of the restaurant too.
