Schatz Econostop Family - Minot

I've been dining at this restaurant for years, but my recent visits have been disappointing. The service has been incredibly slow, and the waitstaff seemed more interested in chatting and laughing among themselves than attending to customers. To make matters worse, a girl in the dining area was clearly flirting with one of the waiters and was loudly discussing it with another waitress while we had to listen in. The restaurant itself was dirty, and the food we received was cold and bland. After that awful meal, both of us ended up with diarrhea and stomach cramps.

My girlfriend and I usually visit this restaurant every Monday. We've never had a bad experience, whether it was with the waitstaff or the food. The meals are consistently delicious, and the service is prompt. It's a fantastic spot to grab a bite, whether it's late at night or early in the morning.

Today, we chose to stop for lunch, and even though the restaurant was packed, we received outstanding service. We didn't wait long before being welcomed and asked what we wanted to drink. Jay (I believe that was the server's name) was exceptional. She checked in on us regularly, ensured that our food was delicious, and kept us well-informed! I ordered steak today, and I can honestly say it's the best steak I've had in quite some time!

I ordered a to-go breakfast along with a coffee to enjoy while I waited. The food was ready before the coffee cooled down enough for me to drink. I've consistently received excellent service, and both the quality of the food and service were superb for the price!

When I was stationed in Minot AFB from December 1986 to April 1994, we often went to Schartz Crossroads for breakfast because the food and service were excellent. Now I'm back for the 23rd. Bombardment Squadron 100 anniversary reunification and over 9 heritage barons went to Schartz yesterday and it is still outstanding. Very recommended.
