The knowledge of wine that the staff had was great. Most of the food was okay, though I felt like we were overpaying for lower quality ingredients. This was especially noticeable in the charcuterie board. We immediately noticed the types of cheeses werenot listed in the menu and our server did not tell us what they were upon dropping the board off. We would of flagged her downbut unfortunately did not see her for another 30 minutes (I won?t fault her for that though as it was a fairly busy night andthey appeared understaffed). It didn?t take long to discover what the cheeses were, as the flavors were pretty generic. The restof the charcuterie (the deserts, meats, crackers) were overall pretty underwhelming. Agreeing with what others have said, thisplace has a lot of potential but it feels like experience is cheapened.
Off the Vine has never disappointed. The food is delicious and the prices reasonable. I'm not much of a drinker so I can't speak to that. I like the atmosphere. And they graciously helped our pop-in party of ten last minute.
