What purpletravller doesn't like about Cuonc Cuonc:
Stopped off at this restaurant for lunch on the lemon path walk. Great views and a brilliant lemon spritz was well worth the walk. Friendly couple run this simple restaurant and they even showed us the kitchen and home made pasta being made. Stuffed Courgette flowers to start were a little heavy. We had the sciachetti pasta (one with pesto Rosa and one with aubergine and tomato). Bread was a bit disappointing, had ho... View all feedback.
Very characteristic place with breathtaking views. the dishes are prepared by oando the products grown in their gardens beyond the organic and at km guests are welcomed with warmth and courtesy. I personally enjoyed the cheeses with marmellatine, meatballs with zucca flowers and zucchini, bruschetta with red pesto, macerata sausage and cooked in lemon leaf and the fresh white wine of the house. We reached the farm by minors climbing about steps (comfortable walk). Very good quality/price ratio. it is preferable to book otherwise you may not find place.
The time stopped.....We were comfortably sitting on the terrace, with minors in front, a very pleasant wind, widely satisfied by walk, bathroom and degotation of the delicacies of enzo and viviana, when they offered us a digestive, own production, true pleasure for the palate. an elixir of herbs on original recipe. It was the right conclusion of a very nice lunch, where the dishes cooked by the two cooks competed to deserve the palm of the best. It is difficult to make a ranking, but surely one of the secrets of success lies in the choice of products, really genuine and of particular taste. See you again!
Unfortunately, despite the offer, the service is very rudimentary, it seems that it is not professional catering. You could say it is a hobby. The food was not up to restaurant standard, but neither was it home-style. Tasteless, small portions. The homemade pasta with grated lemon cannot be called gourmet. Disappointing when you hear the microwave click. The view is nice, but it doesn't make up for it.
Not as good as expected (based upon superb reviews). It’s a cheap restaurant, but what you get is very simple food… The view from the terrace is great, the color of the lights is very white and not very cozy.
This place is awesome. It's farm to table and the husband and wife that run it do everything from scratch. On the afternoon we visited, her father was helping as well. The setting is amazing, up on the hill along the lemon path that connects Minori and Maiori. They have some limitations on their hours, so you might send a scout ahead to find out, given it is at the top of 150 or so stairs on the ascent to Maiori (or the descent to Minori). We ate there after hiking the Lemon Path to Maiori and back, before descending into Minori. The views are the best of any restaurant in Minori. Their menu is also limited and they don't offer everything every night, but what they do have, from appetizer to drink to main course to dessert is fresh and homemade. We sat next to a German couple who hike up daily to try whatever dessert they have conjured up for the day. They raved about them and said each one was excellent. Great people with a little store to buy some of their stuff as well. We bought some of their AMAZING sun-dried tomatoes. Clearly a unique family business. Fun experience, highly recommend.
