I learned that the new owner was formerly the chef at the top-rated Chinese restaurant in Missouri before relocating here. The place is family-run, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. While we enjoyed our meal, we observed a steady flow of delivery orders coming from nearby apartments. Wangs is conveniently located near the corner of Hopkins Crossroad and Cedar Lake Road, in a strip mall just south of the Holiday Station on Greenbrier. This hidden gem is definitely worth the effort to find, and I can’t wait to go back!

The New Wang is a small Chinese place, so I did not find it to be unforgettable given so many other places in cities to eat Asian food. but I enjoyed the food, much. The Moo Shu porks pancake was different, but still good, and the Chicken Egg Foo young was excellent, my favorite shrimp lo mine was also delicious. The service was attentive and prices competitive.

I drove south of the Cedar lake road, and I found Wangs in the area after 6 years. I didn't know, but I heard they were there for 30 years. Their experience shows how the Kung Pao Beef was fantastic. The vegetables were so fresh, and the sauce was not too thick or fat. You have the typical Chinese menu, but you will be surprised by the quality. I can't expect to try her lunch buffet as I'm a recurring customer.
