This restaurant is a fantastic choice for sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods. The food is delicious and convenient.
I ordered a half vegetable wrap and vegetable soup at this restaurant. The cashier confirmed that both were vegan after double checking the ingredient list. However, the wrap was unremarkable and the soup tasted like beef broth. I spoke to the manager and he showed me the ingredient list, which contained many additives, including 'natural flavors'. I did some research and discovered that 'natural flavors' can come from animals, such as beef bouillon. It seems that this restaurant may not actually be as vegan-friendly as they claim. Additionally, the restaurant promotes itself as healthy but has information about the benefits of eating eggs, which I find misleading. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency and questionable health claims at this establishment.
There are vegan options available in every category at this restaurant, including wraps, soups, grain bowls, a kids menu, and desserts. The space is bright and open with plenty of seating options, and they also offer free coffee refills.
This is a great spot for a sandwich, soup, or salad. They also offer baked goods. The atmosphere is very cozy and the food is delicious.
I ordered half veg wrap and vegetable soup. Sounds pretty simple? The nice man in the register confirmed that they were both vegan (after double check of the content list). Apart from the wrap that was as boring as a wrap, the soup tasted like beef broth. So I asked the GM and he got the ingredient list to show me. Talk about not fresh or healthy....so many added things I never have in soup including ‘natural flavors.’ After that I made a quick Google search about natural flavors. If a restaurant like this can not only say that it is vegan on the menu, it is probably not. It turns out ‘natural aromas’ can come absolutely from animals! Probably a kind of beef Bouillon type thing that hides under natural flavors label. What really bothers me in this place is the façade of being so healthy. Health “education” throughout the restaurant, including all important health reasons to eat more eggs? I doubt that my body, the confined chickens or the planet agree with this false claim.
