Uptown Diner - Minneapolis

Excellent service and delicious food! The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed breakfast here, and the portions were generous and tasty.

The service is excellent, and the portion sizes are generous. The location is convenient, with community parking that makes access easy. The furnishings are clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious. Would I return here? Absolutely!

Our waitress Lisabeth was fantastic! You feel like a lucky star when she's your server because she's so friendly and sweet. When my friend and I decided to share a shake, she went the extra mile and split it into two cups for us, which we really appreciated! During our visit, my friend ordered a simple waffle with bacon and was very satisfied. The first time I took him there, he tried the chocolate chip pancake and was over the moon. If I had to mention one complaint, it would be that the pancakes were a bit too plentiful, since they're definitely the highlight of the menu. Overall, it's a consistent spot to enjoy some delicious dishes!

I?m only rating a 2 because our heavy was absolutely amazing joe mama) she was friendly, welcoming, and just a general pleasure. However, food on the other side was simply not good. I ordered the catfish flour the other part of my group had a veggie omelette meal and 2) pancakes, eggs, hash brown meal.. I was not at all satisfied with my catfish meal the fish was simply not good, no taste and my ash brown were super oily and disgusting about all. I took a bite of everything and decided I didn't want anything. We had 3 meals mines and our bill was 80.00 definitely not worth it. I paid 80.00 and I didn't even eat. You took it out of my account) so I would have been more sure. I drove 1.5 hours to eat here and I am very disappointed and I definitely do not return or recommend. My kids said the food was okay, but they're kids and they're hungry? We made sure to be friendly to our servings and tap them accordingly, no matter how bad the food was!

Excellent spot for breakfast! I sat at the counter, and the service was quick, with my meal served hot and in generous portions. The staff was attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely return!
