Outstanding! I was so impressed with the service and the food. I was even more impressed when we shared there was an food element in the plate that was not enjoyable and she said the chef was trying something and I’ll let him know that feedback. She wasn’t dismissive b b it instead accepted the feedback and said she pass it on to the chef. That aside, 99% of what we ate was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I fully plan on going back. So good. Great service. Fun ambiance. My kind of place!!!!!!!
This place is my favourite. Literally the best restaurant in the twin cities. The only place where when I eat the food I'm legitimately baffled as to how they made it. A must visit.
Great service and food in a nice cozy setting! Would definitely go back.
Brunch at Town Talk was the perfect way to reward our shoveling efforts after the overnight snow. The johnnycake with pimiento cheese and scrambled egg was to die for, and the BBQ brisket hash was delicious and had a nice zing of spice on the finish. We started with the homemade cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting, and ended with the cinnamon churros with chocolate sauce. Don't judge us on our sweets consumption the pastries are seriously too good to pass up. And we shouldn't have to choose. Service by Sasha was polished and friendly. Thanks for another memorable meal!
Love homemade food, thoughtful food and quality food The restaurant is inviting although the bench was cold and I had to sit on my coat. Loved the old diner portion with counter service as well. Menu was varied for brunch. French press coffee adds to the experience Johnnycake is fabulous with the creamiest scrambled eggs on top the best definition of sweet and savory. Burger was more medium than medium rare but still good. Service was polite and pleasant. I’d highly recommend and might find a way to get back despite living about an hour away :
