Honestly one of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities. I come here when I want a pancake, or a burger, or a composed dish made with top-notch ingredients. The menu is well-honed, and I can always find something I am in the mood for. View all feedback.
What Nicholas Brown doesn't like about The Kenwood:
The waiter, Jazz, was very rude and forgot most of the drinks ordered. The food not impressive. The pulled pork sandwich tasted and felt like it was soaked in a toilet prior to serving. Would not recommend. View all feedback.
Eat here if you love extremely mediocre food rude waiters. Oh and a plus if you have kids they’re even more rude! NOT family friendly.Got asked to leave after 1.5 hours of service when there were about five other open tables of the same size. And of course we were the only table with kiddos. We even had a reservation.Fake OJ, overcooked eggs, boring menu. Look elsewhere ! Never before have I gotten asked to leave because they “that’s the rule with 4tabs.” I’m sorry, you can’t place people at your other five tables? What a joke.Pro tip: You can warn people of your short service times beforehand so we don’t get our kids etc all ready and go to your awful establishment. Waste of time Kid-friendliness: lol don’t take kids here. NOT family friendly. What a joke of a neighborhood spot
Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. The roasted beet salad was a perfect preparation beet , citrus, ricotta one of the best beet salads I have ever had. The parsnip ravioli was also a winner. My dining companion raved about his radiatori nero had a nice spice!
Excellent food. Creamy, smoky excellent housemade pasta. Solid service during a business dinner. Wonderful neighborhood gem.
Great spot to have lunch with former Guthrie team member late 1980's. Exceptional tasty burger. Laura K, our server had a deft touch with prompt service while recognizing a reunion was taking place.
Food like an average pub and bellow. Service was sour. Pro tip: if you want to pay fair wages to your employees pay them a fair pay. Don’t add a ridicules” surcharge” of 10% and say this is not a tip. Your food cost is high anyhow, but if you need to increase the food items by 10% just do that instead of this outrageous surcharge.
