My husband and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. Charming place and cute decor but the service was slow despite us being one of only a few tables and it took way too long for our food to come out. Considering we had chili that I assume was already made and a turkey sandwich that you put together I don?t understand how the only thing that had to be ?made? (french fries) came out barely fried, not crispy and cold. The chili was fine but for an $8 bowl having a piece of bread or even the option of a topping would have been nice. Instead a couple packets of oyster crackers were tossed on top of my husbands plate. His sandwich was very good but the fries were cold and a small thing of ketchup accompanied it. Walking in we saw the sign to seat ourselves which we did but the only employee we saw was behind the bar and didn?t even acknowledge us entering and we had no idea if there was a separate waitress or not until she finally came over with menus. Based on previous reviews and answers from the restaurant I don?t want excuses that you were busy (you weren?t), you were short staffed (then say you are and we should expect a wait), or we should have said something about cold food because we waited long enough and didn?t want to send anything back. If you?re a restaurant and you actually fry your French fries, plate them and serve them immediately they would never come out cold. I did appreciate the discount for being a school employee and we?d like to try your place again with hopefully a better outcome.

Great food, good service. I like the small menu, never had anything that wasn't delicious. The only reason I can't give it five stars is that the water tastes like it comes out of a garden hose on a hot day, it tastes like chemicals ?. Also, the chairs are pretty uncomfortable.

Great food, horrible service. I don’t normally leave reviews bc I understand the service industry is tough. The last two times the woman took 20 mins to come to our table. Then gave us menus and no water/didn’t ask for drink order. She clearly saw us and was serving other people that came in after us and chit chatting with people at the bar. Wont be back unless they hire different wait staff.

Ok, the Poutine was THE BEST POUTINE IVE EVER HAD! I was sceptical at first when they said cheese sauce instead of cheese curds but MAN, that was amazing! The rest of the food was also very good. And I had asked for extra pickles and they understood the assignment. I had a mountain of pickles on my burger. ?. Other than the food, I love the restrooms. They 're gender neutral and yet very clean! Even at the end of the night. The staff was SUPER friendly. Almost too much but that 's ok! My main complaint is the prices. They 're quite high which is to be expected at a place like this. It was worth it tho.
