We were a group of 16 and the staff was amazingly patient and was great with all of their recommendations. We had the pleasure of trying a vintageport and it was sublime.

Upscale steak house in downtown, so it is not cheap, but it is great for special occasions or meeting at the bar after work.

Two criticisms: I generally believe that servers can wait until you finish your s... read more Overall, another outstanding dinner at Murray's, one of our go-to restaurants. Two criticisms: I generally believe that servers can wait until you finish your salad before they bring the main course, but the server brought the steaks when we were still eating our salads, which felt rushed. Also, I'd said in my reservation that we were celebrating two birthdays, but they didn't acknowledge that, at least at first. When the server brought the dessert menu, I pointed out the birthdays, so our server gave them two special desserts gratis. Not a major deal, but when I note something on the Open Table reservation, I expect someone to read that note before we show up. Otherwise, we love the food at Murray's, and, in contrast to too many restaurants where we can't hear ourselves think, the restaurant's sound level, which makes dinner conducive to civilized conversations that don't require us to shout at each other.

Great food suggestions, fun history of the restaurant , altogether extremely fun as a server. The food was amazing. I can't say enough about the whole evening. Highly recommend Murray's.
