It was a very pleasant experience. The service was prompt, noodles were observed being handmade, and the food was quite good. Overall, 4/5 rating. The noodle bowls appear small but it's deep and when you dig into the noodle bowl, it's quite generous. The broth for both noodle dishes were very well seasoned and the noodle texture was fresh bouncy. The cold cucumber appetizer was refreshing, not overly seasoned. My husba... View all feedback.
What Christine Luo doesn't like about Master Noodle:
Honestly it’s fine, it’s just a bit disappointing in comparison to the St. Paul location because the beef burritos are significantly smaller (by a factor of 2) and possibly due to the fact that it’s take-out only, the noodles tend to stick to each other more and the texture of the noodles isn’t as good (at least for the 刀削面 I ordered). Still better than a lot of Chinese restaurants out there, but I would recommend... View all feedback.

My husband I liked it alot, 5/5.The braised egg pork belly was too tender, not overly sweet, but not out favorite so 3/5. Wished it had a bouncier bite.Lanzhou noodle dish was rich with tender brisket.Chonqing spicy noodle soup was light the schezuan flavor was not overpowering.
Staff are friendly and the food is amazing, the hand made noodles are so tasty (highly recommend garlic chicken fried noodles), easily the only redeeming quality of Sydney hall is that this place exists
Hand pulled noodles, sometimes no matter how well done, are nothing without the proper sauces. This hit the mark. I had Sichuan cold noodles with chicken and it was oh so spicy good and such a great combination of flavors. I wanted more. It was excellent. We also shared a combination fried rice which my co worker said was great but the benchmark was too high with the hand pulled noodles to start! I am sure they were good too. Another simple but delicious option was cold cucumber in a vinegary dressing! English cucumbers cut up with a light dressing boring?? no way! So good! Just so good. Try it, you'll appreciate the work that goes into this food!
First off: Their website says they are open every day, but not true. They're closed Wednesdays. If you aren't a meat eater, this is not the place for you. Ordered three dishes garlic edamame, moo shu noodles, and Szechuan cold noodles. Garlic edamame are wonderful!!! Would love to know what's in there besides garlic and soy sauce savory, warm, and delicious. Other dishes? Meh. The noodles have a nice texture but the sauces were nothing interesting and weren't integrated into the noodles. Also, they weren't served with any utensils, so one faces a dilemma of how to serve oneself a two foot noodle using only chopsticks. Tongs would help. Eventually the server saw us struggling and brought forks and butter knives so we could saw away at the noodles. Only the edamame were memorable and worth the money.
This has become my go-to lunch spot in between classes. I think this is a great little shop. In my experience, the service has not been slow though I've only gotten my food to go. It usually takes less than 10 min to get my food. The lady that takes my order is the sweetest. I've been getting the fried pork meal and it tastes great. I especially like the seasoning on the pork! So good! The University Food Hall that Master Noodle is located in is a great idea of a place but I don't think it's quite taken off yet.
