The food tasted good, but could have been hotter. There is a very large variety of food to choose from. The server didn't offer refills on our drinks. It's nice that the beverage is now included with the buffet. View all feedback.
What Nicole S doesn't like about Mandarin Buffet 1:
The lady in the front is rude as helll.she got in my face yelling talking to me like I was illiterate talking about do I understand that the food that was by the sushi area needed to be cooked. don't waste your money. Talking rude to my daughter saying you need to weight. Your to go food. Like for real lady. My daughter knew what she was doing View all feedback.
You pay when you walk in. They print your receipt and hand it to the waiter. The waiter asks you how many in your party without looking at the people or receipt. I asked for a copy of my receipt and the waiter told me to go get it from the lady at the cashier instead of handing me the one in his hand. It costed $80 for 2 senior citizens, 1 adult, a 10 and 3 year old. Included senior discount.
I'm posting a pic of the weird fish in the fish tank at the entrance because I want to. Good food for a reasonable price. All you can eat chinese, hibachi, and sushi (decent for buffet sushi too).
Not good. We have been to a lot of buffets but I think we finally found one that will be at the bottom of our list. Service was mediocre, atmosphere was dismal, but the food (the main part) was not good. We struggled to find anything that was good (typically easy to do at a buffet). The only thing that was edible was the fresh sized pineapple on our opinion. We went during the lunch rush also, so the food should have been the most fresh and best prepared. Unfortunately we won't be going back.
Hair imbedded in the chicken we were eating. Lady asked what she could do for us, I asked what they could offer- said she’d go find out. She never came back around. Food was cold. Most had no flavor. Did the hibachi and the beef tasted old. Had to ask for refills. Don’t like that you need to pay upfront and tip before you even get served. Didn’t realize they added a 10% gratuity charge since we had 5 people and we tipped- so they got a nice tip and we received poor service. Was $90 for 2 adults and 3 kids. This restaurant used to be our go to but after tonight, we won’t come back.
Thought I'd give this place one more chance, they failed. It was primetime dinner 5pm. The Hibachi was ok, at least it was hot. For the rest of the buffet, most everything I took was cold and tasteless. Chicken wings, egg Fu young, was cold. Had some of the general Tou's chicken, hmmm where is the chicken all dough! Was not worth the $18 that was charged. I'm done never to return.
