The best tofu stew in town, hands down, Good service. The broth is very rich and flavorful on the kimchi tofu stew, and the bulgogi is also excellent. A note on the spice levels: kimchi tofu house does not mess around. “Medium” is what would be considered spicy at many American restaurants, “spicy” is very spicy, “very spicy” is crazy, like you will cry spicy. I have been a regular at this restaurant for six years now, and I plan on continuing to come back for many more years to come! The Korean food is fantastic, the restaurant is family-owned, and they offer great specials for both lunch and dinner. What more could you ask for in a dining experience?
I highly recommend ordering the dinner special at this restaurant. The tofu stew and bulgogi are outstanding and some of the best in town. I really enjoy eating here.
Dumplings and Ramen work well as takeout. They've got the bimbimbap packaging down as well, but I would order everything else dine-in. There are too many parts to these dishes to do them justice.
BEAWARE: spicy level is actually spicy in this place for tofu soup :)Medium would be level of Shin Ramen I guess! I am a Korean from Korea and would consider this restaurant a good place to get some good food. Spicy Pork(not really spicy) highly recommended- legit 제육볶음. Surf-turf taste more like authentic tofu soup Kimchi tofu taste like kimchijjige
Most authentic Korean flavor in the state, and maybe the country, and its not even close. I've been to every Korean restaurant in town and they all suck, except for Donghae which is quite good. I lived in K-land for 6 years. I know how things should taste and Kimchi Tofu House is A1. Be sure to get their lunch special.
