This is by far the best Indian food in the Minneapolis area, I would venture to say best in all of minnesota. The gutti vankaya (an eggplant curry) is my absolute favorite? it?s nutty, spicy, creamy and bursting with flavor. I say it worst experience never going back again .I would start with order wait time after I did order by phone I waited at the restaurant for 20 mins without any response from the people out there. Once I said cancel my order they started responding by saying it takes long time whereas they would ha e said that in the first place when I entered . Below are the pictures of food I got . Had lunch buffet. Excellent food, nice quiet space. Butter chicken had good flavor, spice but no heat. Tandoori chicken was very tasty, very little heat. Chicken biryani had good spice, with mint, and a tiny bit of heat. Buffet is a great way to try out little bits of things we wouldn’t otherwise venture to, but these three things are our go-to favorites.
Very expensive $20 for a not so good buffett, food was cold when needed to be warm. Sauces were disgusting. Rice pudding had only rice, mango ice cream melted ! Not worth your stop ! Tandori chicken cold and flavor not so good either !Vegetarian options: Some not too many for $20.00 dollars !! Plastic cups for water , I am allergic to platic !
Perfect place to have buffet. Worth it any good ambiance. Excellent appetisers, curries, biryanis and deserts. Loved it.
They set up a stall in India Fest and I ordered few snack items both vegetarian and non vegetarian but it turned out to be horrible. It was expensive and not good at all. Please don’t waste your money on this place.
WOW! I simply love this place. I live fairly far and will be driving back as often as possible! The lunch buffet was better than any buffet in Minnesota I know of. The quality of food is top notch. The variety was lovely. So many wonderful options. Vegetarian options as well. This restaurant is a must try. A complete gem. Also, if you like dessert, buckle up. They have beautifully crafted desserts.
